Day 01
Delhi
On arrival at the International Airport you will be received & escorted to your hotel.
Check in the hotel.
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on full day sightseeing tour of
Old Delhi and New Delhi. Delhi is the capital city of India. It is one of the most
important cities of India. It is just not a city but it is a book – a book which says the
history of India. This historic city has witnessed several kingdoms and many ups and
downs. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built and rebuilt.
Today, Delhi is one of the most important tourism destinations in the country appealing
tourists and travellers from all over the world. There are several magnificent monuments
in the city narrating the saga of past. Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Old Fort, Qutub Minar,
Humayun’s Tomb, Rajghat, etc are historical monuments of Delhi tourists love to explore
on their Delhi tours. Akshardham Temple Complex, Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla

Day 02
Delhi - Udaipur
Udaipur, is a royal city that had been the capital of Mewar rulers for centuries. The
romantic city of Udaipur has a legend behind its origin and it goes like this. Once,
Maharana Udai Singh happened to meet a holy sage when he was on his hunting
expedition in the Aravalli Hills. The Sage counseled the King to establish a kingdom
in the fertile valley that would be well-protected by the elevated Aravalli Hills.
Subsequently, Maharana Udai Singh laid the foundation stone of Udaipur in 1557
A.D.
Udaipur also known as the City of Lakes, Vennace of East has been declared as the
number one tourist destination of the World.
On arrival check in the Hotel. Morning after breakfast start your Udaipur city tours by
visiting the magnificent City Palace and wandering through its beautiful rooms and
apartments. Visit the terrific Jagdish Temple. Later visit the famous Saheliyon-ki-Bari.
Later afternoon enjoy boat ride on picturesque lake – Pichola Lake,also visit the
Sajjangarh Fort(also known as the Mansoon Palace). Evening visit the Vintage Car
Collection & enjoy Rajasthani Dinner at Garden Hotel Veg Restaurant.
Day 03
Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh – Udaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh.
Built on a hilltop 1100 metres in altitude, Kumbhalgarh fort has perimeter walls that
extend 36 kilometres in length , which makes it the third longest in the world after the
Great Wall of China and the Great Wall of Gorgan in Iran . The frontal walls are fifteen
feet thick. Kumbhalgarh has seven fortified gateways. Over 360 temples are within the
fort, 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu . The vista from the palace top typically extends
tens of kilometers into the Aravalli Range . It is widely believed that the sand dunes of the
Thar desert can be seen from the fort walls.
According to legend the Maharana of Kumbhalgarh tried so many times to build the wall
of the fort but each time failed to do so. They consulted a local pilgrim about their
construction problems. The pilgrim advised that he be beheaded and after cutting his head
to build a temple where the head should fall, and to build the wall and the fort where the
rest of his body lay. Following his advice, they succeed in building the world's third
largest wall.
According to popular folklore, Maharana Kumbha used to burn massive lamps that
consumed fifty kgs of Ghee and a hundred kgs of cotton to provide light for the farmers
who worked during the nights in the valley.
Day 04
Udaipur - Jaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visiting the The Famous Dargah Sherif of
Ajmer. Later drive to Jaipur.
Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan, better known as the land of kings. It is
popularly described as the Pink City of India because mostly buildings are pink
colored in its old city. It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, a great ruler,
astronomer, philosopher and soldier. Jaipur is globally acclaimed for its magnificent
forts, elegant palaces, terrific temples, heritage monuments, museums, and more
importantly charming look and exotic culture & tradition. On arrival check in the
Hotel. Relax for some time, later visit the old market of Jaipur followed by a Dinner
at Chokhi Dhani ( an ethnic village).
Day 05
Jaipur
After breakfast start your excursion to Amber Fort enjoy elephant ride to ascend to
the fort. Later Proceed for sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace, Albert Hall
Museum and Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal & Birla Temple.
Day 06
Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra, visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is
40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years
due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb
of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. On arrival at Agra check in the hotel.
Agra is a historically rich city of India. It is one of the ancient towns of India. It is widely
acclaimed for its magnificent monuments like Taj Mahal – the Symbol of Love, Agra
Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb (the Baby Taj).
In the afternoon you will visit the splendid Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the
Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by
Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
Day 07
Agra (Excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan) - Varanasi
Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise. Later take excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan,
related with the birth and childhood Hindu god of Lord Krishna. In the evening you will be
transferred to the Railway Station to board overnight train for Varanasi – the City of Temples.
Day 08
Varanasi
On arrival checkin the Hotel. Varanasi : formerly known as Kashi - the city that
illuminates. The religious capital of Hinduism , Varanasi is the oldest living city of
India & one of the worlds' most ancient. The present name is derived from the fact
that the city is at the confluence of the rivers Varuna & Asi.
Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon.
After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went to Sarnath; and
it was here that he preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in
motion the 'Wheel of the Dharma'. It is one of the most holy sites as in this
place the stream of the Buddha's teaching first flowed. Sarnath was a
renowned school of learning from 16th century BC to 12th century AD. Visit
the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple & the museum (closed on Fridays).
At the museum is the Ashok Pillar with its four guardian lions, used as
independent Indias' national emblem.
Day 09
Varanasi - Delhi
Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river
bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be a
spiritually uplifting sight. The life on the Ghats bound in an endless string of rituals,
ever-changing aspects of the river & the wide landscape across have fascinated
visitors from all over the world. Return to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief
map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University
which has an art gallery & the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb.
Afternoon, excursion to Ramnagar. Return by boat in the evening, enroute witness
the religious ceremonies along the banks of river Ganges. Catch Overnight train for Delhi.
Day 10
Delhi
Morning on arrival at Delhi you will be received at the Railway Station. Later check in to
your Hotel. After breakfast enjoy last minute shopping at Delhi. Later drop to Airport to
catch Flight back home.
